1. Which wallets does inPersona support?
If you're interested in using inPersona you will need a cryptocurrency wallet.
inPersona has its built-in EVM-based wallet in the DApp, that you can set up to manage your Data-NFTs, $VSC and $USDV.
We also offer the opportunity to link most Ethereum wallets by providing your access credentials in the dedicated section in the DApp.
You can choose between importing an already compatible active wallet by Mnemonic phrase, Private Key or creating your own wallet on the DApp.
You can add and create more wallets that will be visible in the Wallet section of the inPersona DApp.
2. How can I set up / import my inPersona Wallet?
- Import with Mnemonic:
A mnemonic phrase is a set of 12, 18, or 24 words that serve as a recovery mechanism for crypto wallets and funds in case your device is lost, stolen, or becomes inaccessible. You will have visualization of the mnemonic phrase only once, during the wallet creation process.
It is essential to store the phrase offline in multiple secure locations to avoid any potential loss due to digital attacks or hardware failures.
Never share it with anyone you don't trust, and avoid storing it in digital formats like emails, cloud storage, or screenshots, as these can be easily compromised.
Remember that losing your mnemonic phrase may lead to permanent loss of access to your funds, so keep it safe and protected at all times.
Choose this option if you already have an active compatible Wallet.
- Type in your Wallet name in the Wallet Name text box.
- Type in your Mnemonic security phrase in the Mnemonic Phrase text box. Type all 12 words in the correct order, in lower case, and with one space between each word. Do not leave an extra space after the final word.
- Type in the pin in the Pin text box and then confirm it in the text box below.
- Once filled all sections are filled out, click on Import Wallet.
- Import with Private Key:
A Private Key is a long string of alphanumeric characters and is mathematically related to your Wallet Address. The Private Key allows you to prove ownership of the funds associated with your Wallet on the blockchain and it must be kept secret, as it grants access to your funds.
To find your Private Key on inPersona, reach the Wallet section and click on the Key-shaped icon next to the Wallet Address, navigate over the "Show Private Key" Button, and click, you will be able to both see and copy your Private Key.
