Yes, when using the device for the first time, it requires a blood pressure calibration in order to effectively be able to use the Blood Pressure and SpO₂ features.
It is recommended to perform the calibration in the device section of the mobile application, entering the measurements of a conventional Blood Pressure measurement instrument, in order to obtain more accurate results when using the device.
1. Log in to the app and go to the “Device” page.
2. Scroll down to “Blood Pressure Calibration.” Tap it.
3. Enter the blood pressure value measured by the sphygmomanometer, fill in your information and click “Done.”
4. At this point, the calibration process on the Ring will begin. Click “Start” or “Calibration”, depending on which divide are you calibrating, on the next page. Follow the instructions.
5. The calibration will be completed quickly. When finished, click “Finish.”
We recommend you calibrate Blood Pressure every 20 days to optimize measurements.
